My team loses again
So close for the Cavs this year, but let’s face it, the better team won. It’s frustrating because the Cavs and Indians have come close to winning championships recently, unlike when I was growing up (’70s and ’80s) they never had a chance.
My dad, also used to losing, always said “if you can’t win the game, make sure you win the fight.” This was mostly in reference to Browns games, but it’s typical of how life in Cleveland is sometimes: we might not win, but it’s worth fighting the fight.
